In order to be a teen leader certain qualifications must be met, such as:
• attending Mass regularly
• participating in the sacraments regularly
• attending youth group every Sunday
• arriving an hour or two early and staying late to help
• planning the youth meetings
• attending monthly teen leader meetings

Most teen leaders volunteer 100-150 hours a year with youth group.
The scholarships go to the youth in need first, then split remaing funds between the other youth to supplement their cost and bring it down. Everything is so expensive and a lot of families have a hard time coming up with $290 for leadership camp.
