To up date on where we are with the garden project, the following has been done or planned:

• we have mulch to fill 5 to 6  3x8 foot raised beds

• I'm trying to get Home Depot to donate material for the raised beds

• next week the area is going to be mowed

• we already have some seed and by the time the beds are built we will have all the seed we will need. If you would like to donate seed I suggest Home Depot or the 99 cent store.  We are looking for carrots, bush beans, zucchini or summer squash.

Thank you for your support and interest in this project. The Academy is willing to help and we are thinking grades 1-5, and we welcome everyone.
